What is a cell?
A cell is a group of 3-12 people who meet together regularly, usually around the common
interest, common bond, or common theme for worship, study, fellowship, encouragement,
outreach and ministry.
Where does it meet?
It can be held any time, any place and wherever there is an opportunity, desire, or need.
Why have cells?
- Cells require little or no additional expensive educational space but makes great use
of the places people are already utilizing (office, conference room, living room, den,
etc.).
- It makes excellent use of stewardship and finances, wasting very little money on the
over purchase of unnecessary study guides or materials that often go unused.
- It encourages the member(s) to identify, locate and enlist people with whom they have
much in common. It discourages the forcing of individuals into a program or class or
system into which they may not naturally fit.
- It encourages people to commit to and be a part of something they genuinely enjoy
instead of asking them to be a part of something that they have no part or interest in.
- It allows people to deal with and handle life's toughest questions and most delicate
issues on a very personal, sensitive, effective, life-changing level.
